Welcome to Our Future a future filled with Christ centered childcare, education and community outreach.

Lingomso Ministries is based in the heart of Khayelitsha, the second largest informal high density settlement in South Africa.

Lingomso means ‘future,’ Our future, God’s future for children and adults in our community.

WHAT LINGOMSO WILL OFFER TO THE COMMUNITY

In our new facilities in Khayelitsha, we are able to use our hall, newly built classrooms, kitchen and Khayelitsha based staff to serve those in need through the following:

• Daycare / Educare for children, 4 months to 5 years
• Holiday Bible Club
• Homework Centre*
• Soup Kitchen*
• Christian Counselling*
• Community Outreach*
• Community Bible Studies*

*We will not be able to accomplish this all at once, however we will update these programs as they become a reality.

INFRASTRUCTURE

The renovations and expansions of the Lingomso building has been completed. Praise the Lord. The first day of school will be on Monday, 12 January 2026.

We have:

• Created 4 classrooms
• Put in new floors
• Replaced exterior dry walls
• Repaired the leaking roof
• Remodelled existing space to create a Laundry + created an office for the principal
• Updated existing restrooms to facilitate adults & children
• Remodelled the existing community hall
• Remodelled the kitchen and upgraded to new safety standards
• Currently busy creating a playground
• Improved our overall safety by installing gates and fencing.
• Have secured the services of a security company to provide 24-hour armed response
