STATEMENT OF FAITH
We Believe
In the Divinely inspired, inerrant and infallible Word of God, and that it is the final authority regarding all aspects of Christian belief and behaviour.
That there is one eternal God who exists equally in three persons: The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit.
In the literal six day account of the creation of the universe, and that the creation of man lies in the special and immediate acts of God, and not from previously existing forms of life.
In the eternal Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God. We believe He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and lived on this earth as a perfect, sinless man and that He was raised from the dead and ascended to heaven to be at the right hand of God the Father. He was God manifest in human flesh.
In the person of the Holy Spirit who was sent into the world subsequent to the ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit convinces people of their sins and the need for forgiveness and repentance, and that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer from the moment of conversion, giving power, guidance and instruction for life, and that He progressively brings believers closer to Christ.
That all men have a sinful nature, and are sinners in the sight of God, and therefore fall short of God’s standards. We believe that all men and woman must acknowledge and repent of their sins to receive redemption through the sacrificial death of the Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross. We believe that we are justified by the grace of God through faith alone, and not by any good works of deeds.
That the Church of God consists of true believers who have been regenerated into new life by the Holy Spirit and who form the body of the Lord Jesus Christ who is the Head of the Church.
That it is the responsibility and function of the Church to evangelise by preaching the gospel of redemption through the Lord Jesus Christ, and discipling new believers.
In baptism by emersion for all true believers as a public testimony of their obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in the keeping of the Lord’s Supper (Communion) to remember Hi according to the command He was given.
In the Reality and the personality of the Adversary who is also know as the Devil or Satan.
In the eternal security of all true believers who are kept by the power of God.
In the personal, soon, and pre-millennial coming of the Lord Jesus Christ to the air to rapture the Church. We believe in the revelation of Jesus Christ in Glory at His Second Advent to the earth to establish His kingdom on earth and to reign in righteousness.
In the bodily resurrection of all people, the saved to eternal life, and the unsaved to judgement and everlasting punishment.
